HAINFORD

The Chequers Hainford is a beautiful thatched country pub & dining room. The chefs use fresh, seasonal & local produce to create dishes that are both familiar and interesting, and the bar only serves beer & ales brewed within 50 miles. You’ll find traditional pamment tiles, low ceilings and a relaxed but friendly welcome were the focus is on making sure you have a great time.

Chicken ballotine
Stuffed with cranberry and pistachio sausage meat, smoked  bacon crumb, crispy shredded sprouts, swede and carrot puree,
pomme anna, red onion marmalade jus

Smokey beetroot wellington
Hasselback potatoes, saute celeriac, leeks, turnips, sweet red onion gravy

Norfolk pheasant
Half Norfolk pheasant buttermilk poached and roasted, sauté sprouts, turnips, dauphinoise potato, crushed walnuts, port and juniper jus

Baked Dover sole
Warm tartare sauce, charred leek, truffle parmentier potatoes, grilled lemon

Dessert

Spiced pumpkin brulee
Vanilla shortbread

Chocolate and salted caramel mille fuille
Puff pastry layers, butterscotch cream, chocolate hazelnut ganache, caramel sauce, homemade fudge

Sticky toffee pudding
caramel sauce, crème anglaise

Pear and almond tart
Vanilla ice cream, almond brittle, chocolate tuille
